In the story The Bad Beginning, A Series of Unfortunate
Events by Lemony Snicket is about the three Baudelaire kids named Violet,
Klaus, and Sunny who were very wealthy. During this 162 pages, Violet, Klaus,
and Sunny had very bad luck. First, their parents died in a fire and left an
enormous fortune. Then they went to live with a man named Count Olaf who wanted
to steal their fortune. His plan was to put on a play about marriage. He would
marry Violet for real to get her fortune while doing the play. Violet and Klaus
figured a way to stop Count Olaf and send him to jail. But he escaped and the
Baudelaire kids went back and lived with their parents’ friend until they can
find a relative to live with.
